Day +432 : Happy Birthday

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ! KCFOO

Yesterday, I celebrated my birthday with Ah Siew, Xin Yi , Jin Hao, Mum and my sisters.

This is my second birthday celebration after the transplant. My first was in Hospital, as I am receiving antibiotic treatment for infections. Teck Ann, Fong Ming, Chen Yoong, Stanley, Hiap Soon celebrated with me, and a wonderful gift - WII , hope I can improve physical strength with the games.

Today, mark more than 400+ days since my transplant, and I am doing OK. I treat it as an achievement. Dr Alan said most of the transplant patient do not have so much problem, unfortunately, but I am not one of them.

Day +425 : Good Bye 2009

I started my treatment March 08, the chemo really knocked me down. First Chemo, OK. Second Chemo OK, After third Chemo, I was hospitalised as my hemoglobin was low, required blood transfusion . My 4th chemo delayed for a week. After my 6th Chemo, there is still some residue, so, I went to 7th Chemo. That I really suffered, in return, I am free from disease. However, doctor advised Bone Marrow Transplant is the only way to cure. I have a match donor from my younger sister. I have my Bone Marrow transplant on 1 Nov 08. Today, after 14 months, I still alive. During these period, I have admitted to hospital few times due to infections. One time, the medication has caused my blood pressure too low, I was lifeless, admitted to Intensive Care Unit for few days. If I don't make through that time, I will be 6 feet underground. So, what to complain ! I just have to say, Life is Great. Because I still breathing.

Day +422: Happy Birthday to Mum

Today, I am fine.

Last week, X'mas Eve, we celebrated my mum 66th Birthday. Jin Hao is the most happy kid, have plenty of chocolate cake to eat.

Last year we also celebrated my Mum Birthday in Puchong.

Day +405 : Today Activities

I am fine. Happy Birthday to Selangor Sultan.

8.30am Breakfast ( A cup of Milk, walnut cakes, sweet potatoes)

11:00am Tea Break ( Strawberry + Vitamin C drink)

1:00pm - Lunch at Puteri 2( A set lunch offer - A steam fish, Union Eggs, Honey Chicken, Kai Lan - RM42 )

3:00pm - Email/Office Works

4:00pm - Tea Break ( Papaya + Milk Shake)

5:30pm - NTV 7 News

6:00pm - Playground with Xin Yi & Jin Hao

7:00pm - Dinner

Day +392 : Hacking

I am fine today.

My neighbour started the renovation on Aug 09, the progress is very slow. They just cast the roof beam. The owner told me he is going to charge the contractor supervision fee, as he spend more time than him. That is true, I hardly see the contractor.

I have to close all the window and door due to dusty. My house suffering damage too. The water leakage penetrate into the brickwall, causing fungus growth and discolouring.

The hacking noise still continue, the renovation is very extensive......

Day +390 : Follow up

I am fine.

Today , I asked Teck Ann dropped me to SJMC for follow up. The blood count is normal. Hemoglobin, White Blood count and Platelets within the limit. Grade A results.

The next follow up is three weeks from now. I printed out a list of medicine consumed, asked Dr Alan which one can be omitted. No now, but discuss it in the next follow up.

Then, it must be a lot, the answer is YES. Normally we get one or two or three medicine when visit doctor. Mine one, should count in KG ( gram is more appropriate).

Day 381 : Graduation Day

I am fine today. Getting better.

Last Saturday, we attended Jin Hao's school concert. The dances with the music is quite attractive, imagine kids at 4, 5 and 6 doing the performance for us. Citrawarna organised Gradution for Age 6. Xin Yi also graduated from this school in 2007.

Parents are too excited, many busying taking photos, blocking the view. I am also of them, but, but, I only use less than 3 minutes.
