Today, I am fine .
I have a follow up at SJMC this morning. The bloods count is within the range :
Hemoglobin -13.4
Platelets -210
TWB- 6.7
My next follow up is 4 weeks later. Although blood count is OK. I still cought heavily. Doctor have taken the X ray and the spectrum for C & S test. The X ray show some minor infections. One week antibiotics is given to solve this problem.
I am losing weight from 48.1 to 47.7, need to work harder. EAT ALL YOU CAN

Day +507 : 500th days Journey
Today, I am fine.
I celebrated my 500th day post bone narrow transplant on Wednesday. We have a lunch , follow by a KARAOKE session.
My family, classmate, friends and colleagues have given tremendous support . Without them, it is impossible for me to make through this 500 days. I have my transplant done in 2008, I used the Day +1 as the first day of my transplant, this week marked 5ooth day of the process.
I would like to thank every one of you , supporting me in facing this challenging episode of life; my family, relatives, friends, classmates, friends, colleagues. 500th day only possible with your support.

Day +498 :
I am fine today. Cough is still bothering me.
My neighbour renovation work is progressing , but the speed is too slow. The renovation started last year August. He have fired the first contractor, as the contractor did a lousy works. He realised the contractor don't know how to read the drawing, forget the important the column position, end up he have to strength the structure by adding additional beams and columns.
The hacking noise is the major disturb. My house's door and window have to be closed all the time due to dust.
How long it will continue ? Right now, with the additional roof item, I believe it will take 6 months to complete house.

Day +493 : Cough
Today, I am fine.
I really scare about getting cough, it take much longer time to get it away and it usually extends by weeks. Even my doctor not really want to recommend the cough syrup, as it is temporarily solution.
I have finished two bottles of cough syrup, no sign of improvement. No choice, I opted for Chinese Herb. 3 tablet a day and I took it after 4 hours of my normal daily medicine. I Hope it works.

Day +491 : Xin Yi Birthday
Today, I am fine.
The cough is lesser, and the breathing is improving. Just feel tired.
Last CNY, I have to admit to hospital due to same problem. This year, it is improving, at least having CNY at home.
We celebrated Xin Yi's 9 years old birthday on second day of CNY. This the first time we decorated the house to suit the birthday party. Xin Yi said this is the best birthday party she ever have. We presented her a barbie girl bag which she asked for long time.

Day +488 : Follow Up
I have to write something, Mr Tan said why long time no new from me. I am busy playing Ji Ram Me mahjong during CNY.
Today, I have my monthly follow up at SJMC.
Blood Counts :
Haemoglobin :13.9 ( normal 13.0 to 18.0)
Platelets :216 ( normal 150 - 400)
Total WBC : 8.7 ( Normal 4.0 to 11.0)
The bloods count is all within the specification ( We Engineer, like to talk about spef). But I am suffering from severe cough. Over the last three weeks I have started getting this symptom. I cancelled my plan to have CNY in Triang. The cough really disturbed my rest. I hope it will settle down in next few weeks. Dr Alan said I having the moderate GVHD ( Graft host versus disease), my donor stem cell is attacking my stem cell, and it will burn out eventually, 9 months or more. My next follow up is 1 April
Last week, Lay Hong visited me, bought me a numbers of organic food. She lend me an IPOD to listen a spiritual talk seminar by a Taiwanese doctor. I am half way on it, the talk is quite relevant.
