Day +301 : Xin Yi & Art Class
Xin Yi have attended the art school in Bandar Puteri for about 2 years. She stopped attending when I was admitted to Hospital in March 2008. I used to send her to the class and watching her enjoy doing the painting. She will smile at me, show me her final works every time I pick her up.

Day +284 : Examination
I am fine today.
Xin Yi will sit for their term examination again in this two weeks. Every time exam coming, my wife will use this word, 学书, probably Sarawak style. I used 读书。
Xin Yi no doing well in the last exam, the ranking drop from 11 to 40. Onetime she even cry, because one of the paper below 80 marks. I show her my form five results, average mark was about 79. She scored average 91, I said she is doing much better than daddy.
Come back to the old questions, do you think we should emphasis on scoring more A ? my answer is NO, given me a chance , I would rather spend more time in outdoor activities than studies. I told Xin Yi enjoy your life, don't be too much bother by the school's works.

Day +270 : Flying Kite
I am fine.
My daughter Xin Yi has been asking me to buy her a kite many times. Kid right now is smart in negotiating deal, when I asked her to practice piano and do Kumon, in return, she want something. In order not to upset her again, I bought a kite on last Saturday, the price is RM13 , come with string as well.
I still have to avoid the sunlight, my younger sister bring them to fly the kite. I just took some photos and head back to house immediately. Xin Yi told me she enjoy the games.

Day +214 : Pet
I am fine today.
My daughter, Xin Yi has been asking me to allow her having a dog as pet. I still have to avoid contact with dog or cats, to minimise infections.
I negotiate with her, having turtle as her pet, she agreed. However she know passing me is still not good enough, the ultimate decision is still with her mum. So, Xin Yi SMS me to remind me talk with mum first. Nowadays, kids is pretty smart in using gadget. At 8 years old, she know how use SMS. During my time , What I do at 8 year old ? I can't remember, but likely playing guli

Day + 199 : Kuala Lumpur One day tour
I am fine today. This morning I attended the Yuan Ji Qi Qong (元及气功）at 6:30am, due to long hours of practice, I have dizziness. I have to call Ah Siew to bring me MILO drink to boost up the sugar level. It works. I managed to drive back on myself.
Yesterday, my daughter Xin Yi attended a one day tour to Kuala Lumpur organised by school, in conjunction with Teacher's Day. I estimated there are more than 200+ pupils took part in this trip, as I saw 5 buses park along the road side. The trip visited place like KL Tower, Bird Park, Chocolate factory, Potter's workshop. Xin Yi bought me a gift - a pendant . Thankyou Xin Yi

Day + 175 : Examination Time
Today, I am fine. I have the medical follow up this afternoon. Teck Ann will be my driver.
Xin Yi currently study Primary 2 at Ladang Harcroft , she was the librarian in Primary 1. Rightnow, she is a deputy monitor. She told me she like to be librarian more.
Ladang Harcroft was shifted from Perak to Puchong. IOI's boss Tan Sri Lee Shen Chin donated the land and build the school as well. We have to thanks him for giving our children a place to study, there is seroiusly shortage of chinese primary school at Puchong. Initially Xin Yi was given a place at Chin Wu , PJ, travelling time is about 45 minute. If the traffic is heavy, it will need > 1 hours
The mid term exam time is coming, school gave a list of exam topic, request parent to do revision with kid. During our time, we don't have such communication. Now, the school able to update more information to parents .
